Mary was talking about the possibilities for a life with less struggle and more peace, and offered her Awakening Beyond Achievement Tour with a stop in New York City. I signed up immediately, even though I knew I was scheduled to work. I knew her message was one that I needed to hear. It was one of the best decisions I ever made.I attended the tour stop in New York. Mary and the content she shared were empowering. I was stuck. I was post divorce, working long hours at the hospital to support my two children, and not fully living into the life of my dreams. I always knew that God had more for me, yet that seemed just beyond my reach. I was feeling numb in my life. The exercises Mary provided on that day opened up possibilities. I also began to understand more fully my role and responsibility in manifesting the life I desire.
I jumped at the next opportunity to work with Mary, which was in a group-coaching program called Ultimate Impact. The program's focus was building your business while maintaining your peace and power. This program afforded me so much more than that. I attended her Inner Peace Immersion Retreat in Joshua Tree, where I released much of the baggage that had lingered from my previous life. Arriving back in New York a huge weight was lifted and I felt better about myself, and my life, than I had in years. I credit the early morning walking meditations to my new found love of daily walks and looking up at the sun with gratitude.
It is about 3 years from my first introduction to Mary and I continue to coach with her because each opportunity deepens my awareness, my understanding, and my ability to implement the strategies, as I learn to love and accept myself, and my life experiences, from a gentle place. The voice of my self-critic is more of a whisper than a shout. I forgive myself and accept that I’m doing my best. I release judgment. I love. Something that was once foreign to me as "feeling my feelings fully so that they can be transformed" is now a practice I use to get through times when I feeling yucky. I allow myself to feel until the point where I can release it and make the decision to focus on feeling great.
