Remember, the most important element in crystallizing your vision is finding a
medium that allows you to connect
"emotionally" to your vision. We often identify goals and visions intellectually, yet find ourselves disassociated and not inspired to achieve them. The juice, inspiration and magic unfolds when we are "emotionally engaged" with our visions. If you've set goals in the past with disappointing results, this may be the missing ingredient. Being able to see, hear, FEEL and fully associate with what you DESIRE most, is the KEY to magnetizing it to you.
Today we're focusing on...
Process #2 - The Written Word
From listing out 10 to 100 Goals in bullet format, to describing your vision in a paragraph with lots of juicy details...the written word is highly effective at engaging the senses.
Write it down.
Don't underestimate the power of taking a passing thought and giving it life on paper. The more you describe your vision in detail, the more REAL and associated it becomes in your nervous system. The secret here is finding the language to elicit the emotions in YOU.
I like to challenge my clients to write a "vision paragraph" articulating their most important goals.
You may include descriptors of the end result, including how you and others feel. It's also helpful to describe the process in which you achieved the goal. What resources did you access? What steps did you take? Was it easy or difficult? Again, what feelings & emotions are present?
Below are some inspiring examples from various clients...some are short and some longer.
WRITING VISION
I am organizing and expressing my thoughts, feelings and experiences in a way that touches, inspires and empowers others to make new shifts, gain a better understanding of themselves & others, so they ultimately experience more abundance, love, energy, peace, joy and freedom inside themselves. I am awakening lives to a higher possibility of themselves through books, articles and courses. I am creatively pursuing new avenues of expression, such as media, including social media, to get my message out to more individuals in an enjoyable, and effective format that touches their hearts.
HEALTH VISION
My body is in perfect balance, and allows me to move forward in life with an abundance of energy, ease and joy. I am flawless health. All my joints and muscles are flexible, free and supple. My hips, knee and elbow have healed completely. I love every part of my body, inside and out. Stretching is pure joy, as my body creates new space for consciousness every day. I am healed. My body feels wonderful and is free. I am incredibly fit and physically beautiful in every regard. I have shapely toned muscles and a flat stomach. Everyone tells me how hot and amazing I look, as I inspire others to elevate their own health. I am attracted to healthy foods and supplements that provide me with perfect nutrition that nourishes and heals me. My body easily eliminates what is doesn't need every day. My skin is radiant, clear and glows. I look younger and younger every day. My hair is strong, shiny and bright. I enjoy regular manicures and pedicures. My eyes are sparkling and allow me to see the world clearly. I sleep deeply at night, always feeling fully refreshed and alive the moment I wake up. I love and nurture my body as it supports me in everything that I do. My body is in perfect harmony.
LIVING IN FREEDOM VISION
I am living in a state of pure bliss and joy. I understand and easily recognize truth. I have substantially tamed my ego and have found a deeper connection inside myself that allows me to exude unconditional love and acceptance to all those I come in contact with. I live in the present moment, I truly accept “what is”, I live in states of peace, joy, love and appreciation. I am true to myself and Spirit. I am connected to myself, and truly love myself – and that is consistently reflected in my behavior and actions and self-talk. I am generous with others, and enjoy the practice of random acts of kindness. I am clear and centered in Spirit. I have truly integrated the teachings and learning of more than a decade into a life that is free, full of love, clarity and abundance. I’ve become a powerful and effective manifestor. I trust that everything I desire will ultimately come to pass, and it does. The notions of resistance, judgment, separation and defensiveness are like distant high school memories…faded and unimportant. When I notice a reaction inside myself, I almost automatically release it and allow love to flow in. I no longer feel the need to explain, justify, complain or defend myself. Who I am is enough. I serve my Highest Good without feeling guilty or ashamed. Staying connected to my Source is important to me, and I’ve released my fears of losing connection with others. When I’m connected to me, I am automatically connected to them and the world. When I’m true to myself, I give even more beautifully to others and I experience more love and respect from them in return. I no longer become confused at another's confusion, and continue to flow love if they temporarily forget that they love me. I know I am Lovable. I am worthy and deserving and abundant.
RELATIONSHIP VISION
I am ecstatically happy that I have connected with my life partner, and am so in love with him. I feel so at peace in committing by whole being to this beautiful soul. When the moment arrived, we both KNEW it was right, and melded into each other’s hearts and souls naturally, with resonance. He is everything I desire in a man - spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. We have an amazing chemistry that makes me melt, shiver and open more fully. I feel both vulnerable and yet completely held in his strength. His masculinity has freed my feminine spirit to dance, explore, let go and love even more deeply. I feel so adored, so loved, so cherished and so respected. He’s beautiful on the outside, but even more beautiful on the inside. He is a man of integrity and character, responsible, giving and generous. He is affectionate and romantic. He loves me unconditionally, honoring and accepting me for who I am – flaws and all. I feel free to be 100% me. He is also my teacher and gently invites me to learn and grow, supporting me to become even more of what I aspire to be. We share a desire and passion to learn and grow. We work through challenging moments gracefully and easily. I am inspired, awed and empowered to become the highest version of who I am because of his presence in my life. He is exceptionally fit and committed to his health. I trust and believe in him with every ounce of my being, which has given me unbelievable freedom, peace and joy. We feel so comfortable and at ease in each other’s company. We laugh, create joy out of any moment, and share a passion for life and experiencing it all. We also share in deep and soulful conversations, something we both enjoy immensely. Our soul connection continues to deepen over time. We enhance, enjoy and empower each others lives - loving each other unconditionally and share in open and honest communication, --- expressing and receiving love, energy and joy in all areas of life. We allow each other the freedom to be who they are, sharing their truth, experiencing feelings, while honoring each other. Our magical partnership inspires other couples of “what’s possible” in an intimate relationship. We continue to enjoy a passionate, sensual, spiritual intimate sexual relationship that brings ecstasy, love, nourishment, healing and power to each other. Our physical chemistry is beyond amazing. We fit together so well, and enjoy making love almost daily. We learn and grow together in a safe, nurturing and loving environment that brings out the best of each individual. We create a family together that exemplifies our love and provides a nurturing home to our amazing children.
